Archdeacon Returns to Baptise Grandson
The Venerable Brian Smith Archdeacon of the Isle of Man returned to the parish on Sunday, 6 August 2006 to baptise his grandson Jacob Head, son of Martin and Rachel (the Director of Music) Head.
There was a good congregation to welcome Jacob into the Christian family at Keswick St. John. Martin and Rachel were supported by Martin's sister Giulia Jobling and Rachel's brother Tim Smith who are Jacob's Godparents.
Jacob's Grandmother had baked a baptism cake enabling the congregation to join the family celebrate Jacob's baptism along with a glass of sparkling wine. |
